Children's Museum

I know this is out dated but I promised I'd put this on the blog for Grandma Shelley and Tara

CELINE DION!!! OMG! I had so much fun! It was the first real concert I have ever been too and it was so good. We had really good seats too, I just wish I could have snuck in my good camera. These pics aren't great, but that's all right. Besides the fact that she is a great entertainer, any woman who can perform for two hours, dancing, walking and working all four sides of the stage for 2 hours in 6 inch or higher heels the entire time definitely gets my approval. I could see her quad muscles from where I sat. If any of you get the chance, I highly recommend you go. And call me cuz I probably want to go again! : )

Guess who turned 2 months old today!!! I can't believe how big he has gotten in just 9 short weeks. But this must be a magical mile stone because I got to sleep for a total of 7 hours last night. I haven't slept more than 5 hours in a 24 hour period since he's been born. I feel like a new woman today. I hope it keeps up. Even if it is only once a week, at least I would have one day where I wasn't walking around like a zombie all day.
Of course babies are the cutest when they are sleeping. He just ate and just got out of the tub and just like magic he falls right to sleep. I think it is his favorite time of day. Eventually he does spit out the binky, but he has to be all the way unconscious.
This is one of Jax's favorite places to be. He LOVES chilling in the bathtub. Of course when I take him out it is a whole different story. This week is the first since he has been born that he didn't scream the entire time I did lotion and got him dressed. But I didn't mind so much cause then he always snuggled me extra tight when we were done.
This is the girls and I just before we went out on our "girls date". And yes they had us strike a pose. They chose to go to Applebee's for lunch and then we went to the big movies and say Inkheart. This was our first outing since Jax was born and it was so fun. I've missed my girls so much and to get that time with them was precious. I am the luckiest mom ever!
Out of the blue, Madi and Kenna decided they were going to play Nativity. Madi is the Angel, Kenna is Mary watching over Jesus ( cabbage patch doll ) wrapped in his "waddling" clothes, the colorful striped head thing is Joseph ( a kangaroo stuffed animal ) and the shepherd is the cat with the other stripes. They even brought me my scriptures so they could enact the story exactly how it goes.
No Madi and Kenna have not joined any runaway hippie groups in a VW van, they just had crazy hair day at school and this is their most beautiful creation. I love the things they come up with!

Here is Jax working on his tan. : ) Of course he is still just a little yellow and some nice sunshine is just the cure for that. Even though it is only 30 degrees outside, it was so warm coming in through the glass door. Jax loved it.
